Voyage au centre de la scène is a door that opens up into the heart of theatrical writing.
In the form of a lecture-reading, author Étienne Lepage, present on stage with 3 performers, invites us to a conversation around a multitude of excerpts drawn from his creative universe. The texts are hallucinatory tales, philosophical flights of fancy or stifling closed-door situations that reveal essential and troubling human secrets.
Through the musicality of the language and the body of the performers, we penetrate into universes with laws different from those of our daily life to be confronted with ourselves, our aspirations, our desires, our fears, forcing us to think differently, to live differently, to love differently.
Reflections on the theater, but above all on the world in which we live, this intimate and convivial lecture-reading, sprinkled with anecdotes, is at one and the same time playful, touching and stimulating.
