Caravane is an arts program that breaks us out of our routines, turning up in surprising or unconventional places. It aims to introduce new audiences to a wide range of projects, whether they’re complete or works in progress.
CARAVANE 2021 is a program of workshops aimed at demystifying the process of choreographic creation in contemporary dance and hip-hop in the Charlevoix region.
Open to all audiences (no prior knowledge required), the CARAVANE workshops offer an extraordinary opportunity to dive into the process of four exceptional choreographers: Catherine Gaudet, Frédérick Gravel, Riley Sims and Alexandra ‘Spicey’ Landé.
Through exchange activities, body exploration and observation of the work of these choreographers, who each benefit from a one-week creation residency, CARAVANE offers participants nourishing and dynamic discovery experiences.
CARAVANE SOLOS | 2020 EDITION
Caravane solos is a program of short choreographic solos in the Charlevoix region of Quebec.
The project aims to offer a one-on-one artistic experience, a few meters away, as each solo is presented to a single spectator or a family unit.
